Almost three months have passed since Social Security promised to correct the error in the illegal cuts in social support. "Maria", pregnant, employed by others, was on lay-off between April and July 2020, subject to a 33% cut in salary. In October, due to a risky pregnancy, she applied for the respective subsidy, which was calculated based on the first six of the last eight months, thus including part of the period in which her company was in lay-off. A case that is wounded by illegality, according to lawyer Raquel Caniço explained to Jornal de Notícias.
